DRAMA
What is Drama?
Drama is one of the four Fine Arts, which are taught here in Glenview. Drama, in its simplest form, comes from the Greek Language meaning “action” or “to do”. AND that is exactly what we will be doing through out the year. We will be on our feet learning how to use our face, body, and voice to express ourselves. Indirectly, Play will help us with many life skills including: learning, communication, responsibility, etc.
At Lyon, we will focus primarily on the process of Drama with only a very small focus on performance. We look more at growth over time. Our goal in Drama is to learn how to creatively express ourselves utilizing the tools learned through the year.
