• Lyon School's NEW Bus Rules
• Author David A. Adler visits Lyon School - Thank you, PTA!
• Family Fine Arts Night
• Lyon School Book Fair sponsored by the Lyon/PR PTA
• All School Field Trip - The Very Hungry Caterpillar and Other Eric Carle Favorites to Center East Youth Theater presented by Mermaind Theater of Nova Scotia. Centre East's Youth Theater Program offers curriculum-based productions that support the Illinois State Goals for Learning in the Fine Arts, Language Arts, and Social Studies for grades K- 12. Thank you to the Lyon/PR PTA for making this event possible.
• The Polar Express at Lyon School
• Hurricane Katrina collection drive - Classes donated money and deposited the funds into a special account designated for Habitat for Humanity Relief. Habitat for Humanity came to Lyon School to talk with the children about their organization.

• The Dot and Susan Show -With a background in early childhood education,children’s theater and dance, Dot and Susan educate and entertain!
